Discovering the truffles of Dalmatia we have decided to share this experience with you. We are taking you on a truffle hunting experience with our 4WD vehicles.

When we reach the secret locations we will teach you everything there is to know about truffles and how to hunt them, and you will hear the story about our specially trained dogs. Depending on the season of your visit, these are the truffle types that you are going to meet – the black truffle (Tuber aestivum,  Tuber uncinatum, Tuber brumale, Tuber melanosporum) and the white truffle Tuber borchii-bianchetto.

At the end of the tour degustation of truffle products will be waiting for you in nature. The aim is to promote Dalmatian truffles and to raise awareness of natural resources of Dalmatia which is the home of very valuable types of truffles.

Arrival in Dol, island of Brac:
Dol is a small medieval settlement on Brač which, due to its beauty and traditional style, exudes the past. With only a hundred inhabitants, it lives authentically and offers a glimpse into true island life. It is located 12 kilometers from Supetar (ferry port), or 2 kilometers from the village of Postira and about 20 minutes by car. Parking is provided at the entrance to the village.

Guided walk:
On our walk around the village led by members of the association, including a professional guide, we will visit interesting locations such as a picturesque hill next to the church of St. Peter from the 10th century, peek into homes built in caves, socialize with domestic animals, tell stories about everyday life, the island and the history of the village and a special legend – the mythical Viver.
We end the walk with a balance of strength in the traditional Mediterranean game – Na buće.

Visit to Kaštil Gospodnetić:
In the noble house of the Gospodnetić family, the host will take you through the story of his family and the traditional process of making homemade wine, which you will have the opportunity to taste. The tour also includes a small workshop on the use of wine and wine products in everyday island life. Along with wine, you will also taste Brač sheep cheese and homemade bread.
